Monday:  Eastern Europe and Russia Map (hard copy from Coach Thiel); Use the following power point to help label key physical and political characteristics

Tuesday – Thursday:  Use the following power point to complete the guided notes.  There will be some parts that are critical thinking and completed in class (notes will be a hard copy given in class)

Friday:  Chapter 14 guided reading questions and Guided videos with critical thinking questions.  (Videos will be shown in class from our online resources)

Use the following power point, your book, and vocabulary to complete the Semester Exam Review

This will be applied either to the project OR the written test.  You can do one article for each but not one article for both.  (I hope this makes sense but if it doesn’t come talk to me)

• You will find a news article from one of the following sources:  cnn, msnbc, bbc, nbcnews, nytimes, usatoday
• It must be written no later than January 2016
• The article MUST include one (or more) countries from Northern, Northwestern, or Southern Europe. (if you don’t know what countries these are look in the book at Chapter 10, 11, and 12)
• On a separate sheet of paper or google doc, you will give me the following details:
  • Author, Date written, Title, Link to the article, European country that is mentioned
  • 5 sentence paragraph summarizing the article
  • 5 sentence paragraph explaining the significance of the article to the world and the U.S.

*** One article will be 10 points…you can do up to 3 articles***
